Sometimes people will hire a company that doesn’t do work using a proven standards approach. The homeowner had a foundation issue and decided to contract with a company to repair the issue. The repair was performed and the homeowner paid them $7K to repair her foundation. Looking at their repair the company simply put materials in place and didn’t pay attention to properly repairing the building.
The floor joists were not even touching the support columns put in place!
